Travel Course
Our 6-week Spanish travel course is perfect for anyone preparing for a trip abroad. This course focuses on essential “survival Spanish” to help you feel confident navigating real-life situations while travelling.
You’ll learn how to get around, ask for and understand directions, buy items in shops, and handle everyday interactions you are likely to encounter. We also cover key situations such as eating out, checking into hotels, visiting the pharmacy, and dealing with emergencies—giving you the language tools you need to travel with independence and ease.

Lancashire Language academy has been such an amazing experience for myself, my wife and my daughter, we are planning on creating a new life in Spain in 3 years’ time and would like to be able to live like a local and converse with the natives in their own tongue. We have been on an off “Duo Lingoers” over the past few years but having actual in person teaching has helped my wife who could order a Fanta Limon or Naranja and that was her limitations, myself who thought I had a good grasp on basic Spanish was quite shocked with how little I knew. Mollie has helped us get from non-speakers to understanding a lot of words and starting to use them and string sentences together through visual, listening, speaking and practical methods, I even had the confidence to speak with several Spanish people on a recent trip to Spain, including ordering meals in a restaurant and asking for “ayuda en la supermercardo” when at the counter ordering some Jamon. Mollie is a friendly and patient teacher who quickly understands everyone’s learning needs and tailors the sessions to fit in the quicker learners and also the learners who may need some more time to grasp it as Spanish is a hard language to get to grips with, but once the irregular and regular conjunctive words are learned which you start to pick from the off, Spanish becomes a very logical language to learn and Mollie really know how to get you to understand that easily and muy rapido. The lessons don’t just stop in the classroom; there are little tasks to complete at home and Mollie is always on WhatsApp to answer questions you may have. We have booked onto our 2 set of lesson on the advanced course and can’t wait to continue our journey to fluency with Mollie. I have zero issues recommending Mollie only if it doesn’t leave me without a space on the course.
As a relatively new starter to Spanish and college/night school since about 30 years + ago and as a 'mature' adult student I was very apprehensive, even nervous when taking up this challenge. I had only ever dipped in to an online phone App and listened to a couple of CD's in the past and didn't really know what to expect.
Why on earth did I worry ?
Mollie and indeed the others on my course A1+ have made me feel extremely welcome (apart from 'On the bus' ha).
Mollies approach is fun, intuitive, at a pace and difficulty to suit all participants and always explained. The classroom environment is welcoming with the class size just right and the learning pathway provides an incentive for progression.
I've only done 2 lessons and cannot speak highly enough of what I've experienced so far. Hopefully I'll be able to progress to A2 in the new year and eventually right through to B1+ and then B2.
