Start your journey with a fully structured and supportive Spanish language programme designed to guide you from complete beginner all the way to advanced level. Our courses are aligned approximately with the CEFR framework, meaning you can join at the level that suits you and progress with clarity, confidence and purpose. If you are not a beginner, you can join the programme at any level and continue building from where you are.

Whether you are taking your very first steps or continuing your language journey, our programme provides a clear pathway focused on real communication. From day one, you will begin building essential skills in speaking, listening and understanding, allowing you to use Spanish in meaningful, real-life situations.

Our lessons are carefully designed to make learning feel manageable, enjoyable and achievable. We focus on practical vocabulary, accurate pronunciation, conversational confidence, and strong grammatical foundations. Grammar is key to everything-it unlocks the rest of the language and allows you to express yourself with clarity and accuracy. By building this foundation step by step, you will gain the tools needed to create your own sentences and truly understand how Spanish works.

Classes run in small groups of 6–12 learners, creating a supportive environment where you benefit from expert instruction delivered by native teachers or those with experience living abroad. Each session includes regular speaking practice and clear guidance at every stage, with lessons carefully paced to ensure you feel confident, supported and never overwhelmed.

Alongside each course, you will gain access to our library of exclusive short stories and videos, designed to bring everything you learn in lessons to life and place it into real-world context. You will also receive additional optional homework for those who want to go further and accelerate their progress.
For learners who would like more tailored support, we also offer private Spanish lessons alongside the group programme. These one-to-one sessions are ideal for focusing on specific goals, boosting confidence, or making faster progress.

Conversation Classes

Our Spanish conversation classes are designed for students with a solid foundation in the language (B1 level and above). These Spanish conversation classes focus on practical speaking skills, giving you the chance to practice real-life situations, expand your vocabulary, and refine your pronunciation in a relaxed, supportive environment that builds confidence and fluency.

Our Spanish speaking classes emphasises active participation and natural communication, helping learners develop the ability to speak confidently and comfortably in a variety of contexts. Travel Course

Our 6-week Spanish travel course is perfect for anyone preparing for a trip abroad. This course focuses on essential “survival Spanish” to help you feel confident navigating real-life situations while travelling.

You’ll learn how to get around, ask for and understand directions, buy items in shops, and handle everyday interactions you are likely to encounter. We also cover key situations such as eating out, checking into hotels, visiting the pharmacy, and dealing with emergencies—giving you the language tools you need to travel with independence and ease.

We have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it and love the fact that we can now string sentences together in Spanish. Mollie is a great teacher. She is very patient and her style of teaching is so reassuring which has helped us grow in confidence. We have also had the pleasure of being taught by Pauline too, who is equally fantastic. The lessons are based around small groups and are therefore fun and friendly. Mollie uses her knowledge to explain concepts in a way that are clear and understandable, even to the absolute beginner- like me! Having retired and wanting to keep my brain active and learn a new skill, I started learning Spanish at the Lancashire Language Academy in September last year. I was very nervous and unsure if i could learn a new language however the classes are small which means I got to know my classmates quickly and we support each other. Mollie is a fabulous teacher, very encouraging and she takes the time to ensure the learning process is fun. I am now able to listen to and understand spanish as well as speak and read it. I am still on my journey and there is more to learn but I feel a sense of achievement and I can't recommend Mollie at Lancashire Language Academy highly enough.

Lancashire Language academy has been such an amazing experience for myself, my wife and my daughter, we are planning on creating a new life in Spain in 3 years’ time and would like to be able to live like a local and converse with the natives in their own tongue. We have been on an off “Duo Lingoers” over the past few years but having actual in person teaching has helped my wife who could order a Fanta Limon or Naranja and that was her limitations, myself who thought I had a good grasp on basic Spanish was quite shocked with how little I knew. Mollie has helped us get from non-speakers to understanding a lot of words and starting to use them and string sentences together through visual, listening, speaking and practical methods, I even had the confidence to speak with several Spanish people on a recent trip to Spain, including ordering meals in a restaurant and asking for “ayuda en la supermercardo” when at the counter ordering some Jamon. Mollie is a friendly and patient teacher who quickly understands everyone’s learning needs and tailors the sessions to fit in the quicker learners and also the learners who may need some more time to grasp it as Spanish is a hard language to get to grips with, but once the irregular and regular conjunctive words are learned which you start to pick from the off, Spanish becomes a very logical language to learn and Mollie really know how to get you to understand that easily and muy rapido. The lessons don’t just stop in the classroom; there are little tasks to complete at home and Mollie is always on WhatsApp to answer questions you may have. We have booked onto our 2 set of lesson on the advanced course and can’t wait to continue our journey to fluency with Mollie. I have zero issues recommending Mollie only if it doesn’t leave me without a space on the course.

As a relatively new starter to Spanish and college/night school since about 30 years + ago and as a 'mature' adult student I was very apprehensive, even nervous when taking up this challenge. I had only ever dipped in to an online phone App and listened to a couple of CD's in the past and didn't really know what to expect.
Why on earth did I worry ?
Mollie and indeed the others on my course A1+ have made me feel extremely welcome (apart from 'On the bus' ha).
Mollies approach is fun, intuitive, at a pace and difficulty to suit all participants and always explained. The classroom environment is welcoming with the class size just right and the learning pathway provides an incentive for progression.
I've only done 2 lessons and cannot speak highly enough of what I've experienced so far. Hopefully I'll be able to progress to A2 in the new year and eventually right through to B1+ and then B2.
