Our 12-week beginner Italian course is designed as supportive and engaging Italian lessons for beginners, introducing you to the essentials of the language in a clear and structured way. These Italian lessons for beginners cover everyday vocabulary, simple grammar, pronunciation and basic conversation skills, giving you the confidence to start speaking from the very beginning.
Created especially as welcoming Italian classes for adults, this course recognises that learning later in life should feel encouraging, social and achievable. Our Italian classes for adults provide a relaxed environment where you can ask questions, practise speaking and build confidence at your own pace, without pressure.
As part of your journey, you will also experience elements of an Italian conversation course, with guided speaking practice woven into each session. This early introduction to conversational skills prepares you for progressing onto a more advanced Italian conversation course as you move beyond beginner level. Along the way, you’ll also discover Italian culture, food and traditions, making the experience immersive as well as practical.
After completing the beginner level, you’ll have the opportunity to continue to higher levels and build on your skills step by step.

From a young age, I was fascinated by languages and the doors they open to new cultures, experiences, and opportunities. My journey has taken me far beyond the classroom—I’ve lived and worked in Valencia, Graz, and even leaving my whole life behind to go and live the Galápagos islands amongst the tortoises, immersing myself in different languages and ways of life. These experiences not only strengthened my fluency but also deepened my understanding of how language connects people across the world.
