If you are thinking about starting Spanish classes in Burnley or the surrounding Lancashire area, it is natural to feel unsure about what to expect.
At Lancashire Language Academy, we offer structured and supportive Spanish courses designed for complete beginners as well as those continuing their learning. Whether you are starting from scratch or returning to Spanish after a break, our programme provides a clear and achievable pathway.
We teach learners across Burnley, Blackburn, Clitheroe, Preston and Lancashire, with classes held at our dedicated language centre in Padiham and at Whalley Old Grammar School.
Where Our Spanish Classes Take Place
We run Spanish classes in two key locations:
- Our main language centre in Padiham
- Whalley Old Grammar School
This allows us to support learners across Burnley and the wider Ribble Valley and Lancashire area.
All classes are delivered in small groups of between 6 and 12 learners, creating a supportive environment where every student has the opportunity to speak, practise and receive guidance.
A Structured Spanish Course from Beginner to Advanced
Our Spanish courses are part of a fully structured programme designed to take you from complete beginner to advanced level.
The programme is aligned approximately with the CEFR framework, meaning you can:
- Start at the right level for you
- Progress step by step
- Clearly see your improvement
If you are not a beginner, you can join at any stage and continue building from your current level.
With consistent attendance and home practice, many learners reach B1 to B2 level within 18 to 24 months. At this stage, you can hold conversations with native speakers and travel with confidence.
